It is most often made from varying lengths of tulle (a machine-made crisp, netting like material) and can have a wide assortment of embellishments which adorn its body and edges. Anciently, it was believed that the veil protected the bride from evil spirits. Most brides today wear the veil to top off the perfect dress in a fun, elegant and stunning way. Your veil can have a finished trim with piping (cording) or ribbon or can be unfinished and adorned with crystals, pearls or rhinestones.
